Wow.
This book was leaps and bounds above the first in the series. The amazing thing is that I read it years and years ago and completely forgot about it, so it was like reading it again for the first time. I feel like people always talk about how they wish they could read a book again for the first time and I feel like I really did.
I bought the ebook for $2.50 and let me tell you it’s one of the best uses of $2.50 I’ve made in a while. I can’t wait for the third book, I already have it queued up. Not sure how it could top this but I hope it does. I’ve been reserving my five start reviews a lot more lately but this was so good, and weirdly nostalgic, that I just had to.
