Fire Night
by Penelope Douglas
So in the other books, you didn’t really get to know Will all that well. He was just always described as being drunk or high on drugs so I really liked getting to read his story. The whole thing about what Emory did to “break him” was a little anticlimactic. The build up about it, I expected it to be something much worse than what it actually was. There are a few things about her that were annoying, but overall I liked her character. She was a survivor. I also ended up really like Will as well. It’s kind of shitty that his best friends ever let him get to a point where he thought he wasn’t good enough for anyone, but sometimes when people make up their minds about something there is no changing it. My biggest issue with these books is there is too much MM/FF/orgy situations. I know there are people who enjoy those scenes, it’s just not my cup of tea. The stories themselves are good, and once again I find it amazing how they all connect. Each story began over one night and through each book you got to see the different characters perspective of what/how and when things went down and the role they each played. It’s very talented writing.
