Did not finish book. Stopped at 75%.

• Interesting concepts but incredibly flat characters that I did not care about at all, apart from Da Shi
• I guess I prefer a more balanced character/plot driven book
• Might pick it back up and just burn through it soon but it really started to feel like a chore about 3/4 in
