The Fabric of Our Souls
by K.M. Moronova
This was such an intriguing concept. Someone who wants to die meets someone who so desperately wants to feel alive. Add in a creepy institution, soul-searching, and heartbreaking confessions, and you get a story that is both deeply sad and unexpectedly enjoyable. The final portion of the book, however, felt a bit off—both because of the pacing and the sudden/unrealistic events themselves—which kept me from feeling as devastated by the ending as I otherwise would have been.
