Finally, I have started my journey in THE wheel of time series. When I first picked this book, I dnf'ed it after some 10 chapters but then again due to the hype of the trailer and show, I decided to give it another try. And thank the god I did.
Nothing new is going to be in review that nobody hasn't heard of. Still I want to say the things I good and bad aspects of the book that I liked and didn't. everybody knows that Mr. Jordan is master at scene setting. And this world is so rich and beautiful and full of different types of people and culture and we dive deep into some of them in this book and get glimpses of others. And the description, my goodness, was so awesome. The thing that I did struggled with, is that I was not very interested in the side characters and there many similarities with The LoTR.
