The Last House Guest by Megan Miranda

This was my first read of Megan Miranda and unfortunately, this book just didn't do it for me. I found myself pretty bored most of the time and confused by the two timelines. As others have said, I didn't feel invested in the characters. There were also strange side stories that felt misleading. There were times that the story pulled me back in and the last 30 pages were exciting, but unfortunately, not as intriguing as the cover of the book! (Which is beautiful). I may try to go back and read some of Megan's other books such as all the missing girls and see if they are any better than this one.
