I picked this purely because I it was free and I wanted to listen to another book narrated by Zachary Webber and he delivered as he always does, and did an amazing job with his side of the story. But dear lord the female narrator was so… ugh. Everything she said was so overly formal and felt forced and stiff. It was so difficult so follow her parts of the book that I couldn’t tell you if it was such a struggle to get through because of her narration or the predictable plot line, which I expected going on considering the kind of book this is and doesn’t usually bother me. But her reactions to things just didn’t make sense. Everything she did felt forced just to cause trouble in the story.
