lunarcicles 's review for:
Boring Girls
by Sara Taylor
This book was amazing. The writing of course was simple and made the story fast-paced, didn't dwell too long on descriptions (which I find kind of annoying in contemporary books) and just, enjoyable.
But the story and the characters were what sucked me right in.
Firstly, the narrator: from the first chapter I read on her point of view, I thought she had narcissistic personality disorder. And at first when she told stuff about her childhood, I found them ridiculous but then I related to her. And somehow understood why she reacted the way she did.
The story was spun around feminism and mental disorders, both things about which I love reading.
I don't know what else to say, I'm not really good at writing reviews. In fact, I totally suck at it. But the books I read normally don't suck so...
I don't know. This book is amazing, the feminism, righteousness, psychopathic acts, and mental illnesseses present made me love it.
