One thing I used to love when I commuted into London was reading the metro and reading its version of Missed Connections. I knew as soon as I started the audiobook that this would be a favourite of mine. Boy was I right.
An entire book of mishaps and near misses and god I devoured every word. I adored it. I got slightly annoyed with Nadia for her behaviour towards Eddie at the end and I didn't like the Emma / Gabby storyline because I didn't like the way they just cut out Nadia. But I always believe when you know you know and true love and soulmates are what I believe in. And to me, it was just so realistic and great! Plus Romeo, cliché or not, I loved the way he was narrated, his voice and his character.
This was a gorgeous palette cleanser of everything I want and need from a romantic book. Just gutted I blasted the audiobook too quickly! Ho hum.
