One of the first series I’ve read where the second book is equally as good as the first, so bravo. I feel like it’s weird how Gal is so different in this one than in the first one—though I guess because this is from his point of view that might make sense, or because of the plot twist at the end of the last book. Either way it was a bit off-putting to me, but the overall book is great and I’m so glad the third one just came out so I don’t have to wait for it.
