This is the fifth book I read from this author. I really like her style of writing in general. This, however, felt a little different from the others. I liked de slight darkness to it; how she built this universe and diverse cast of characters was 10/10 for me. The main male character had me both kicking my feet in excitement and wanting to run for the hills. I liked how he was described without it being too obvious. The female lead was a badass. I loved her and her character development. I do wish the secondary characters had a little more development. The spicy scenes were very well written and described.
