Solid 3.5. This book feels like the embodiment of "this meeting could have been an email." But for all that, I learned a lot, it was engrossing, and when the author wasn't running around in circles, I found his writing style incredibly eloquent. (Oddly, I felt the acknowledgedments to be the most tactfully and engagingly written section overall.) The detailed research angle is mostly what hooked me. I'm a sucker for history well sought out.
