I really enjoyed reading Demon Copperhead.
It evoked a lot of emotion from me, including anxiety and guttural sadness for what Damon endured during his childhood. I was never sure what was coming next and felt the narration of his own experience made his character exponentially more enthralling.
I felt the pace of the book did get a little slow towards the middle/end, but I was so invested in Damon and his outcome that I finished it quickly.
