I blew through this over my last couple days of Thanksgiving Weekend, and I think it’s my favorite one to date. There were more historical allusions that I enjoyed, but I did wish a few storylines were teased out more over the next few books rather than coming to an abrupt end. Because I’ve read the first four already, I could sort of guess a few of the “mysteries” (Darcy’s other woman and the jewel thief) but others were more surprising. I have a feeling I will be plowing through the rest of these books over the Christmas holiday week!
