I'm not a fan of menage books as a rule. The few that I've read have made me uncomfortable, even though I have no problem with it as a lifestyle choice. I have never found a book that has convinced me that the relationship worked and functioned healthily. This one however, may have changed my mind a bit.
Jen has been a great character in each of the previous Finn books and it was good to see her come into her own. Tristan was by far my favourite character, being the bad boy who seemed to have a heart of gold. Duncan, I could take or leave, but he seemed to work in the romance. I really did feel like the romance and relationship worked well. The Finn brothers doing the overprotective thing was hilarious too, I liked how Duncan put them in their place. Jen's mum not handling the situation was really sad too, but sort of relatable. I was glad she started to come around in the end.
I did have a few issues with the content. The way Tristan seemed to groom Jen did make me uncomfortable, and I felt that there was some unresolved issues, but over all, it was a solid read.
