“Your eyes are who you are”
“Because we’re always in pain, we know exactly what it means to hurt somebody else”
I underlined some quotes which I liked but in general I just felt very uncomfortable reading the book and the abuse he was going through at school. Especially the way his parents didn’t notice, it seemed unrealistic.
Also the dialogue between those 14 year olds speaking on life and philosophy, extremely unrealistic as well.
