I think the overall concept of this and the emotional core of the story was very strong. The characters' powers were used very creatively, especially Jes's. I thought it was neat how he used his empathic senses to gague what the audience was feeling during the circus's performances, and which parts of the show were and weren't working.
It was unfortunately a little too messy for me to fully love it. There were a lot of characters introduced very quickly, a lot going on, and a lot of elements that didn't get the focus they needed.
It was fun though! Give it a try if you like the idea of a space circus of superpowered individuals, or are looking for ace and queer rep and found-family themes.
