My husband and I are doing this thing where he shows me a movie I have never seen and I show him a movie he has never seen. I decided to show him the movie "Network" since there is a lot of today's political landscape that can be explained by how volatile and cultish politics have always been. Well I expected him to say something to the political nature of the movie he instead said; "It is real refreshing to see a movie that has the confidence to know that it is making a masterpiece."

Which is true. And exactly what I think about this book.

It has that confidence that what it is saying is important. It has that confidence that it has something to say.

The prose itself is enough to really give it a high score since it is some of the most musical and beautiful prose I have read in a while. However the nature of the story itself, the characters and what they have been through, the connection between them, all really comes together to form something unforgettable.

It had high praises and I am normally so scared to read books that have a lot of fans since I feel like someone is watching over me asking how I like it every few chapters. It gives me a bit of a feeling of being perceived even though I am not. But this really rose the the heights it was brought to.
