Did not finish book. Stopped at 8%.

I liked the story itself and what it stands for and the content but it was hard for me to get invested in the writing style. With it being fiction my brain kept wanting to tell me the story is true. And although I am sure many experienced similar accounts and can identify with different parts of the story I personally would have connected with and enjoyed the book more if it was a true story. But this I know is not something can be changed so I am just shelving it for now and may come back to it in the future!
