This book includes many of my favorite children's literature elements: warm illustrations, an adorable story, and the opportunity to educate/explore further. This re-telling of 'Goldy Locks and the Three Bears' includes some touches from Chinese culture without being condescending or cute; it includes further learning and a recipe at the back. Would be great for inclusion in a home school curriculum (or just a household book for kids who love to learn). I'd recommend it to check out from the library once or twice-- though might get stale a bit quickly as a volume to own.
