caffeinified 's review for:
Impostors
by Scott Westerfeld
Really love the Uglies series, but this has to be my favorite book Scott Westerfeld has written in this fantasy world. It really surprises me to say that, but it's true.
Glad I re-read the entire series before getting into Imposters, but Imposters can also be a standalone series if picked up somewhere without having read the prior novels.
Enjoyed the new area of the world, the new characters, the new problems that society is facing in the aftermath of the first four books. Enjoyed the commentary on society as a whole through the view of this fantasy world.
Well-written, as always. Easy to read and just all around enjoyable.
Now I just need November to get here so I can start Shatter City with my book club. Until then, I'll be twiddling my thumbs wondering about Frey, Rafia, Col and so many more excellent characters!
