Fighting for You by Alise Monroe
4.0

Margot is still trying to settle into her new life at Indigo Hill after fleeing from a stalker. She is a nurse and hasn’t had much time to make many friends. Brooks is pretty much the opposite of Margo. Where she is innocent and sweet, Brooks is definitely a bad boy with an attitude. They meet when Margo is called to help Brooks with some injuries sustained from fighting.

These two are definitely the definition of opposites attract. Brooks really struggles with his own feelings of self-worth and I’m happy he was able to open up to Margot about that. Margot’s childhood was pretty rough as well. Seeing her struggles with her father was heartbreaking. I loved seeing Margo become friends with Thea and Ripley. Those two are just hilarious.

The ending to this book definitely had me tearing up for sure. I can’t wait to continue the series with book 3!
