The One-in-a-Million Boy by Monica Wood

I picked this up after hearing it recommended on the What Should I Read Next podcast. I was looking for stories about relationships and families, ones that don't revolve around murder, suicide, crimes, and sexual abuse. I have a soft spot for books that dare to tell the stories of protagonists over 40. There's so much more to life than those bright first three decades, and Ona proves there's plenty of wonder left!
