Let me give some backstory here. I ordered this book at 2 am when i was half way into Flock, and when i finished flock later that day I realised that this was the best decision i had ever made in my life. because i can guarantee you i would not have been able to wait longer than the 2 days i waited for the next two books. and now i have finished this second book and though i cried and i’m heartbroken and not over it, i loved it. this was better than the first book, and i loved the first one. i got the character development i so desperately wanted from cecilia, and i got some very good tension. it was overall just so good. i could not stop thinking about this book throughout the day, and it had me reading some intense parts in the middle of school. this book DID give me whiplash though…

I’m so glad i finally read this series, and super glad that it is my first series of the year. however, i’m clueless as to where this is going to go for the third book, because i kind of got my happily-ever-after already? i’m kind of terrified, but at least tobias & cecilia are together, and to be completely honest that’s all i wanted….

well that’s not true. dom…. my love :( i sobbed and died a little bit inside when i read that page. and the worst part is, i predicted his death about 150 pages into flock.. so when i say i was prepared? I WAS PREPARED… and yet that didn’t make it hurt any less. he was so perfect. and yes, all my rainy days are yours. i love rainy days :(

also… the final scene with sean gave me the perfect amount of closure, and had me crying so much for absolutely no reason. especially when she got the car, and he calls her trouble… and when he says pup… i love that nickname even though if i heard anyone irl say that i would deck them.

i’m just in love with this universe. that’s all <3
