I normally like enemies to lovers, but this one left a weird taste in my mouth. Perhaps it was the massive, overwhelming amount of body shaming that did me in.
I didn’t like how quickly she moved on from her fiancé that she was, at some point, in love with enough to agree to marry him. I needed a bigger resolve than what the author offered.
I also wanted her time to discover who she is without being attached to some guy. IDK. I really enjoy this author, but this was not one of my favorites… ya win some, you lose some. Onto the next!
