Gabriel's Promise is the 4th book in the series and probably the last , and that is why I rated it 3 stars , if you like my have read the florentine series , Gabriel and Julianne make an appearance in the book and her illness is described as something awfully , yet in this book it's just swept away , we don't see Gabriel and the Intruder talk , the book does not make sense with the timeline of the Floretine series yet it's in the same timeline ... dont get me wrong I loved reading and catching up with Gabriel and Jules , but I expected more ,I expected the Florentine series merging into the Gabriel series , just like it was done the other way , and the only thing it mentions is the intruder , and then nothing. The ending was abrupt . I hope for a book 5 , but the ending was Fin , acknowledgment and mentions a film series , such a shame.
