I truly the appreciate the amount of accurate historical research that went into this- as a living history reenactor who does 1869 (the main setting) I enjoyed the small details that may escape others, like crotchless bloomers, indoor and outdoor shoes and petticoats upon petticoats! 
Apart from that, the plot was interesting, I was engaged the whole way through and I can’t wait for the next instalment.
