This book was so simple but such a beautiful read. It was notes between a mother and daughter (who is coming of age) dealing with life and struggles. It was beautiful. It’s a epistolary novel which I love.
However the lack of communication the mother and Claire got to have in the book annoyed me with such topics I will not mention here. As I sat there after I read it, it makes me realise that was the intent of the author to make it shown how communication is so important in our lives and that we should make time for those who we love.
