Miss Subways by David Duchovny

4.0

Wow, this was a pleasant surprise! I picked it off the new books shelf at the library out of pure curiosity of Duchovny's work. For me, it was like a little bit of American Gods, a little bit of X-Files, and a lot of pop-culture reference and jab at politics fun. What surprised me was how well it flowed, despite it's supernatural weirdness. Light-hearted, but not over-the-top cornball. It even made me look up several things online, continuing to peak my curiosity. Thanks, Duchovny, for the wonderful surprise and fun! I'll be checking out Holy Cow next.
