A Taste for Monsters by Matthew J. Kirby
3.0

A great folding of fact and fiction as the streets of the past are brought to life in the mystery. Jack the Ripper is terrorizing the streets of Whitechapel, but it's the ghost of his victims that are terrorizing Evelyn and her friend The Elephant Man. Each spirit requires a task in order to move on to the next life and it's up to Evelyn and her friends to put these murdered spirits at ease.

This book kept me flipping as I waited to find out why these ghosts are haunting. I remained on the edge of my seat as they lead the narrator closer and closer to the Leather Apron murderer. I just found the ending abrupt and unsatisfactory with so much build-up.

I would recommend the novel to anyone who loves a good mystery!
