It does what it says on the tin. There were clear parallels to Mean Girls, but it was Mean Girls if the characters were capable of the drama that happened here.
Definitely didn’t see that plot twist coming towards the end of the book, I appreciated that it wasn’t a book where you could see where it was taking you until you were there!
I don’t think some of the language used was necessary, and I found it difficult to like any of the characters except Hannah, although I do feel this was intentional.
