The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling

4.0

After struggling through and finally finishing 2666 after almost a month, I needed some light and easy reading, and JK's five little wizarding fairy tales really did the trick. Admittedly, this is junk food for the brain, but that doesn't mean these aren't good stories. JK, as ever, is a great teller of tales. Additionally, the commentary by Professor Dumbledore that follows each story is a nice touch. This is a very short book, barely over 100 pages and can easily be finished in less than an hour. If you're a Harry Potter fan, you'll definitely want to catch these tales.
