The premise of Hold Me For Now was admittedly a little weird at the beginning, but WOW. It was steamy and I ended up really enjoying it. This was my first Lexi Davis story and I'll definitely be going back for more!
Sometimes Novellas can feel like you're missing a big part of the story because you're fitting a lot of backstory into a short amount of pages, but I didn't feel that at all here. The story was written extremely well and the spice was definitely spicing. 🌶️👀 That being said, I wouldn't necessary consider this your stereotypical "dark" romance but I think the premise is definitely dark romance adjacent.
