I really liked this book.  I liked the characters and I'm a fan of baseball, so I also really enjoyed that aspect of it.   I really liked the baseball community and the differing ideas about what it takes to make a team and the way everyone watches out for each other. 

Now I need to go back and read the first book in the series.
