I originally stumbled upon it through the Target Book Club and I must say, I was very pleased with this choice! At first I was a bit put off by the past-present format but once you get into the meat of the story, it stopped bothering me. The storyline is captivating! I do most of my reading at night and once Lee's stalker like tendencies become apparent, I had the urge to check my windows and locks (I admit, I might have checked them more than once).

I found it dark and intense as situations like these happen often. Some scenes are brutal and you honestly begin fearing for Catherine's well being. If you're a compassionate reader you might even find yourself picking up some of her OCD habits..

I would definitely recommend this book. Although I must issue a TRIGGER WARNING: this book covers rape and emotional/physical abuse.

I look forward to reading more books by this author.
