This is a book that I wish GoodReads had a 1/2 star mark. It's a 3.5/5 for me.
The characters are portrayed in rich detail even with the third person narrative it allowed you to see in each person's perspective. The story covered various intertwining storylines of the Casey family and it showed every relationship has it's up and downs no matter how good it looks from the outside.
I did find the main event the story was building to somewhat anti-climatic and enjoyed the play out of the events leading up to it more interesting. But maybe that is also a sign of a good lead up.
I would still recommend this book for a fairly easy to read family drama with a few heavier issues within including disordered eating and mental health topics.
