Incomparable by Nikki Bella, Brie Bella
5.0

“We are the heroes of our own story, and our story is our own to make. While we experienced some of our stories together, a lot of it happened to us individually, and we had to go at it alone—even though we are identical twins, our stories are incomparable. And your story will be incomparable too.”

I am a proud member of the Bella Army and I have been excitedly waiting for Incomparable for what feels like forever! (Especially since Amazon kept delaying my pre-order!) It was certainly worth the wait. Brie and Nikki are always very transparent about their lives, but they open up even more in Incomparable. They each tell brutally honest stories about their childhood, their time in the WWE, and their relationships. Those stories range from funny to heartbreaking to inspirational to relatable. I particularly enjoyed reading about the backstage shenanigans with the WWE, Brie telling us about her relationship Bear and about falling in love with Bryan, and Nikki overcoming her injuries/abuse and leading the women’s evolution!

While the Bella’s candor is a highlight, I also gotta say that I liked the fact that this book felt like more than just an autobiography. It has plenty of memoir material for wrestling fans to enjoy while also dabbling in self help and women’s (mental AND physical) health.

If you’re a fan of Brie or Nikki (or both like you should be) then this is a must read. But even if you’re not and you just want a fun, quick read about the a couple of inspirational women then this is a good one!
