A peek into Elim Garak's childhood and thoughts. CONFIRMED right off the bat that he loved Bashir, and was in a relationship of sorts with him. Confirmed bisexual as well. Enjoyable story if you like the characters, but you should really already know the world of DS9 before reading this. Listening to the actor Andrew J. Robinson read Garak's tale in his voice from the show is lovely on the audiobook. some clunky pacing.
