I really did enjoy this book . It’s so raw and brutal the way the story develops and it really breaks your heart how so close to the truth this book is even though so desperately you don’t want it to be . It tackles the apparent racism and the injustice which is so prominent and it does this so we’ll. I walked into this book with no research about it and I walk away with it finished filled with so much emotion and almost guilt (not sure if that’s what the right word ) . I really do recommend this book but I advise you to approach it with caution because there is plenty of tw.

The only criticism I can give this book is that it has absolute no chapters whatsoever so at times I felt bored because I didn’t know when to put the book down and take a break . With there being no chapters at times I was skim reading then having to read that section again because I got confused with what was going on .
