The Murder Game by Rachel Abbott
3.0
'The Murder Game' is a fast paced thriller about a group of friends who come together to one of their friend's wedding party. But when the groom's sister is found dead on the day of the party, everything changes.
One year later, the groom invites his friends back to his mansion in Cornwall to play a so-called 'Murder Game' to find out what really happened a year ago...
'The Murder Game' is the second book in the Stephanie King series, which I didn't know when I bought the book, haha.
You don't have to read the first book to understand this one, but I was surprised when Stephanie King (a detective) suddenly appeared, because the book is written in Jemma's POV (one of the friend's wife).
Stephanie King was also the investigator in the first book, so you might want to read it first.
I think the plot was pretty interesting, but predictable. I actually saw the plot twist coming.
The characters were okay, but it took me some time to figure out who is who.
