This book started out with predictable dubious lies and when I was relieved mmc came clean earlier than expected I thought things might be looking up.

Unfortunately the "enjoying sex is a sin" plot was boring and unconvincing.

Then it turns out that the first antagonist dies off screen, and the antagonist of the climax of the book is the murderer of mmcs family. Driven to murder because  "enjoying sex is sinning" wtf? Again, it's a boring, unconvincing, and ridiculous reason for mass murder. Neither of the villains were interesting at all. I regret picking up the book.
