This book captures rebellion from strict, religious parents in an honest and refreshing light while also highlighting what it means to find yourself, love, and be you on your own terms. Not someone else’s or that of your parents’. This book hit it on the head what it means to grow up with tough love as a teen with her own emerging values. I loved it beyond belief. Amazing.
