This Time Tomorrow by Emma Straub

3.5

Somewhat slow start to this novel whose jacket promised time travel, but once the story started rolling, I found it hard to put down. Characters were somewhat flat. I enjoyed the nostalgia of reliving mid-90s teenage girls—this was my childhood, and I recognized every callback. The emotional turns and tributes to a dying father felt real but repeated throughout fell a little short. It would’ve been nice to have a little deeper dive into the father’s story.
