Delighting in the Trinity: An Introduction to the Christian Faith by Michael Reeves

4.0

A wonderful little book on why a Triune God matters, and how it completes the story of well, everything. The Trinity is always a confusing doctrine that turns your brain to mush, and I appreciate how Reeves explained it using the Father, Son, and Spirit's character rather than trying to explain it linearly and logically. Also liked the history that he added in throughout the book.

The only reason I took a star off is based on my own expectations coming into this book. I was hoping it would be a little bit more devotional, but this book takes a more educational approach. Not really a book to read before bed, because the mind really does need to be engaged to follow Reeves here. Still very worth reading!
