I'm hooked. This book is the closest I've gotten to experiencing ACOTAR-like interest, except a little darker and not as insta-lovey. I really appreciated the complexity of the hate-screwing. Dialog is a tad hokey at times, which is expected with these kinds of novels, but overall the writing was quality for this genre. There were quite a few typos for some reason, but again the writing was quality enough that I didn't mind. Excited to plunge into the sequels for some more easy Summer reads.
