I know I’m way behind the curve on this, but seeing Jonathan Bailey in “Wicked” made me think that maybe I should finally read and watch “Bridgerton.” I didn’t know much about it before reading it. This was fine… until it wasn’t. Simon had a lot of trauma, but I was enjoying the sibling relationships and Simon and Daphne getting to know each other, until we get to the scenes where Simon
gets extra ragey and basically says he could force Daphne if he wanted to, and then gets drunk and then she takes advantage and rapes him because she can’t wait another minute to get pregnant by him and this will fix his deep-seated daddy issues
? WTAF. Not ok, not really in character for her, not really redeemable to me. I would’ve also liked if both had more of a personality, and if Daphne had some friends that actually made an appearance.

Lady Violet and Lady Danbury are awesome, though.
