ranooshe 's review for:
Love and Death Among the Cheetahs
by Rhys Bowen
The main characters were the same. The author was the same, yet this didn't feel like one of Georgiana's adventures. There was so much less humor, and the urge by Bowen to get the historical details right made the novel wrong. The plot wasn't so well presented. The relationship between Georgiana and Darcy so unlike newlyweds and the red herrings were annoyingly unconvincing.
I hope she doesn't obsess so much about historical accuracy in her future books and return to the fun of her previous books.
