Love, Me by Jessica Saunders
4.5
I really enjoyed this book that is a “coming of middle age” story - the term I have coined myself 😂. The way it was written (and the voice) of the main character (Rachel) just really worked for me. Rachel is a mom of two kids, successful lawyer, married to a man she met in law school, and happens to have dated a very famous actor way back in high school. The story really begins when her and her famous HS bf’s lives intersect once again in a way she would never have guessed.
I liked how it went back and forth from present day to her past to simultaneously tell the story in both the past and present. I also was glad to see a woman written so strongly and self assured. I would absolutely read this author again. 4.5 stars !
