Belle's Tale by Mallory Reaves

Didn't realize this was going to be based on the live action version. It was ok. Worth reading but not worth rereading. Here are some thoughts:
- Everyone including Belle's dad, the furniture, everyone seemed to be super handsome/ pretty except for Belle herself. Belle was very plain. Like she seemed out of place because of her plainness. Does not do either movie version justice.
- Seemed to drag out at certain points, then at others go way too fast. Pacing was a nightmare. Some characters had parts that were too long and others have one random line. Freaking Le Fou is one of the main characters and he gets less lines than the regular village people.
-Liked the art style but The Beast and Belle seemed weird. The Beast seemed too pretty and not Beastly and Belle seemed way too plain.
Way too long of a review for such a short book but I do love this world. Beauty and the Beast is my all time favorite Disney movie and while this was enjoyable it could have been better.
