3.5🌟 my first emily henry book. definitely wasn’t the romance book i was expecting, but i loved seeing the relationship between nora and libby 🥹🩵 i really feel like this more kind of more about the sisters and their story than the romance between bora and charlie. but it was overall enjoyable. i’ll still continue to read other emily henry books, i’ve heard that i may like the others better!
editing to add that after talking to some friend emily henry and this book in particularly reads more as women’s fic than romance, which settles and explains my disappointment in this one. why is it labeled as contemporary romance on the back of the book? 😵💫😩 i’ll probably try re-reading it in the future knowing what i know now! 💛
